HEALTH PROVIDERS

Kimberly Fried became interested in the study of the human body and healing very early in life. She became a licensed massage therapist while completing her studies at San Francisco State University where she earned her Bachelors Degree in psychology. Upon completion of college coupled with her experience as a massage therapist, it was clear she wanted to help people heal and explored several directions, including medical school, chiropractic, osteopathy, acupuncture, etc. However, it was when she sustained a severe injury to her back she sought a multidisciplinary approach to her own healing and found that she was most fascinated with acupuncture.
Kimberly moved to San Diego to attend the reputable Pacific College of Oriental Medicine where she received her Masters of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine.
For the last two years, Kimberly has been an instructor of anatomy, physiology and massage therapy while at the same time being deeply involved in community outreach practicing Chinese medicine through the skillful use of acupuncture and herbs making integrative healthcare known and available to all families.
Because Kimberly believes patient education is an important component in healing, she places an emphasis on patient recovery being shared by the practitioner and the patient.
Kimberly is passionate about this centuries old form of medicine and has enjoyed great success in treating a wide range of conditions including pain management, orthopedic injuries, internal medicine, women’s health, digestive complaints, neurological conditions, insomnia, emotional imbalances and general health and wellness.
