Robert W. Buechel, B.S., D.C., C.M.U.A.
After growing up in Iowa, Dr. Buechel attended Arizona State University, where he graduated in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Zoology. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1997 from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Upon graduation, he joined Alderwood Back and Neck Pain Clinic in Seattle, Washington, and specialized in auto accident and work related injuries. In 1998 he moved to San Diego, where he has lived and practiced for the last decade.
Professionally, he is certified (2002) in Manipulation Under Anesthesia (C.M.U.A.) and has performed over 12 cases with excellent outcomes. Seeing the lasting effects of this technique and wanting to bring more comprehensive care to his patients, Dr. Buechel brought multiple healthcare disciplines together to streamline patient care in the clinic where he treats. As the clinic director, he has seen that incorporating appropriate instruction in diet and home exercise with non-traditional patient care which includes microdose homeopathic injection therapy, manipulation, nutrition, physical therapy, acupuncture, massage and psychological therapy in care plans has shown to get great results with patients.
