Marriage & Family Therapy
Renew offers many types of therapy to help empower clients in creating positive change. Our therapist has experience working with a wide range of diagnoses, from severe mental health disorders to life transition issues. We believe in discovering one’s own potential and finding gratifying solutions in order to achieve a rewarding life.

Individual Therapy
Therapy is a process of meeting with a therapist to explore issues, process emotions and thoughts, and learn new skills with the goal of reducing internal suffering. Feeling stuck, difficulty make healthy decisions, and acquiring negative habits can be frustrating and disappointing, which if left unattended, can greatly decrease one’s quality of life. Through a non-judgmental and confidential therapeutic relationship, these barriers are identified and new life strategies are established in order to increase a healthy relationship with yourself and others.
Couples Therapy
The primary focus is on the interaction and communication within the relationship. Conflict resolution is often an area of exploration because when two people cannot navigate through a disagreement or issue in a healthy way, whether through avoidance or creating a power struggle, nothing gets resolved, resentment builds, and repairs are never made. Couples therapy is an avenue for both parties to learn about and understand each other’s feelings and experiences with the goal of generating healthy strategies for a peaceful and satisfied connection.
Family Therapy
Relationships within the family unit are the primary focus of family therapy. The general view is that the problem is not caused by just one person, but in the way that the family dynamics create and maintain the dysfunction. Areas of attention include communication styles, the role each person plays within the structure, how the family reacts to certain situations, and the motivations behind behavior.
Adolescent Therapy
The teenage years are an exciting transition between childhood and adulthood. Forming an identity and achieving independence are the primary goals. With that comes the task of making decisions while at the same time becoming increasingly aware of how others, especially peers, respond. Therapy can help in navigating through this with the purpose of increasing self-awareness, finding appropriate avenues to express thoughts and feelings, and fostering healthy decision making.
Group Therapy
Group therapy is a shared therapeutic experience where issues are explored in the presence of others. Groups can either be psycho-educational, in which information about specific topics are given to members and examined in order to learn, or “process” oriented, in which the focus is on the experience of being in the group. Whatever the content, witnessing each other’s healing journey allows for a powerful and supportive experience.
