Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS)
How many people think that CTS is a problem that originates from the wrists and that typing is the culprit? Did you know that the cervical spine is usually the area of entrapment of the nerves that travel down your upper extremity into your wrists? The nerve commonly irritated is called the Median nerve and can be entrapped in the wrist as well. Adjustments of the wrist bones, called the carpal bones, can reduce localized swelling and edema that can ultimately cause CTS symptoms. Neck adjustments are equally as important in this process to relieve nerve pressure at the most vulnerable point. Relieving the muscle tension in the neck with physical therapy, massage therapy and acupuncture is also going to give the best results when used in combination with neck and wrist adjustments.

A dysfunctional pattern of living and problem solving often developed during childhood by family rules. Cranial Sacral Therapy is a technique based on Cranial Osteopathy. Like Cranial Osteopathy, Cranial Sacral Therapy seeks to restore the natural rhythmic movement found between the bones of the skull. The Osteopath uses her or his hands to facilitate the almost imperceptable movements between the skull bones. Faciitis
This condition refers to inflammation of the protective covering of muscles or bundles of muscles which can cause fibrous scar tissue development, adhesions and nerve entrapments. Very important in dealing with inflammatory disorders is to evaluate that the inflammatory response is not out of control and what its underlying cause is. Poor diet, repetitive strain, poor biomechanics and tight muscles can be at the root of this condition.
